I’m Nicole
I am a Power Markets Analyst based in the UK. My work focuses on the economics of electricity and hydrogen markets in Europe. Prior to this, I trained formally as a mechanical engineer.
While I originally intended for this blog as a way to present some of my learnings on energy in the context of Sarawak and Malaysia, I soon started writing about other areas of interest.
I write as a way to learn; it gives me a platform to think deeply about the topics I care about. Many of my posts here can be read as a collection of notes as I explore and make sense of these topics.
More importantly, I write to attract some critique and feedback, to improve my understanding of the world, at least a little each time.
